Glider has sustained damage to fuselage tubes around rear wing drag fittings (cross tube is broken) and to nose and nose wheel mountings. The canopy is broken and there is minor damage to the wings at the inboard aileron area. Detailed inspection would be required. The glider was in good pre accident condition, the ARC expires in October 2010, it was weighed in March 2009 and has an empty weight of 684 lbs, the 5 year wing inspections were also carried out in October 2009.
